About Me:

✦ Hi! My name is Rea Weidemann. I'm 22, from the Fremont, Nebraska area and currently reside in Hastings, Nebraska, where I attended Hastings College. I graduated in 2025 with a major in Fine/Studio Art and a minor in religion studies. Art is my greatest passion and hobby, I'm happy if I'm making something. From paintings, to clothes, to jewelry, or castles and mansions in Minecraft. I live with my two cats, and Robert!

My Experience:

✦ I worked as a mural painter professionally from April of 2023-Dec 2025. Since 2025 I've worked part time decorating cakes. 

✦ In May of 2026 I started as a tattoo apprentice at Black Diamond in Hastings, NE. I'll share more in the future when I'm able to begin taking clients!

✦ I'd love to see myself doing political work with my art, occasionally continuing with murals, and I'm pursuing a career in tattooing.

About My Art:

✦ I have never and will never use generative AI for any aspect of my art process 

✦ I primarily work in the 2D mediums, and while largescale painting is my favorite art form to work with, I also do graphite drawings, small paintings in both oil and acrylic, ink and pen drawings, and much more. I tend to stick with realistic or surrealistic work, though abstract is definitely also up my alley if that's what you want! I pride myself work that looks skillfully made.
